Welcome to celebrate New Year's Eve at Rotuaari!
At this family-friendly event, you will enjoy various dance and circus performances, magic, music, and a spectacular show combining fire and pyrotechnics. The evening will be hosted by Marco Bjurström.

DJ NiceRice warms up the crowd
DJ NiceRice will set the mood at Rotuaari starting at 7:30 PM as guests arrive for the New Year's celebration! At the same time, New Year’s greetings and highlights from the past year collected from Oulu residents will be displayed on the large screen.
The evening's host, Marco Bjurström
At the City of Oulu's New Year's celebration at Rotuaari, the energetic Marco Bjurström will be the host and presenter of the event. Expect excitement, inspiration, humor, and rhythmic fun!
Backpain Dance Crew
The Oulu-based Backpain Dance Crew brings electric energy and extravagant spectacle to the Rotuaari stage with their Kpop dance covers. The group is known for their large stage setups, featuring over 30 dancers performing simultaneously. The Rotuaari performance will also feature the junior group Growing Pains Dance Crew!
Circus Artist Jukka-Pekka Matero
Circus artist Jukka-Pekka Matero will captivate the audience at the New Year's celebration with his skilled acrobatics! The performance will feature breathtaking handstands and balance acts.
Magician Elias Kvist
Magician Elias Kvist brings a magic show to the stage, where heartfelt humor, audience participation, and a range of emotions from joy to excitement come together seamlessly. The show is a carefully crafted experience that will both astonish and entertain.
Tenor Joonas Vatjus
Oulu-born tenor Joonas Vatjus will bring a touching moment to the New Year's celebration by performing the Finlandia Hymn a cappella. As a professional singer, Joonas is known for his powerful interpretation and impressive voice.
Fire and Pyro Show bu Tuluxxia
The fire artist duo Tuluxxia brings a breathtaking show to the stage, blending fire art and pyrotechnics. Their fiery performance will provide an unforgettable grand finale to the New Year's celebration!
